A platform for volunteers to participate in events, and for organisers to call out for volunteers.
Background
Civic engagement in particular has become the essence of the Bruneian culture after the 1984 independence. It is after the country established an open relationship between the government and non-government bodies through civic engagement. As result, these causes and advocacies to develop the community are carried out.
The Problem
As civic engagement develops in Brunei, there are lacks a united front in terms of advocacies and causes. And at the same time, information of certain causes or NGOs may not be readily available or known to the public at large.
The Solution
Mengalinga (Caring) offers a new form of fun, informative, dynamic experiences for everyone to take part in various volunteering programmes. Additionally, users will also be able to view any volunteering activities across Brunei with just a few clicks away! At the same time, the app hopes to provide directories and information for NGOs in the country.
