Background
There exists a need to address the market access gap facing MSMEs in securing business opportunities with larger companies. There is also a need to upskill local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to secure business opportunities with large companies in Brunei.
The Problem
Many MSMEs experience market access gap in securing business opportunities with larger companies and there exists a low participation of MSMEs in the local supply chain. At the same time, many MSMEs also lack the knowledge, experience and support in proper procurement practices and support for development of their capabilities.
The Solution
Through this platform, DARe aids to develop technical and business skills of registered MSMEs and ensure they are fully prepared to perform effectively on contract with large companies through a series of assessments, mentoring and training.
