A Mobile App Built to Connect Blood Donors to Donation Centres.
Background
Blood banks need to maintain a healthy supply of blood inventory. They may experience unpredictable bouts of blood supply shortages, thus affecting many patients who may need immediate blood transfusions.
The Problem
Blood supply may have limited lifespan while blood donation may be limited to blood donation drives and compaigns only. As such, blood banks may not be able to immediately inform the public regarding blood supply shortages.
The Solution
Bloodkad connects blood donors and blood donation centres to monitor blood donation activities and events. The app allows donors to jump queues by booking appointments, conduct electronic pre-screening tests and join a community of blood donors!
